  • Professor James Murray-Parkes is the Technical Chair for Technotia Laboratories

    James has contributed to more than 1,800 major projects. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, he is recognised globally as a leader in high-end problem solving, innovation, and design.

    With more than 25 years in science and engineering consultancy, James brings extensive mathematical expertise, leadership, and both academic and industry experience. He is regarded as a world authority in high-load structural connection design and remains dedicated to research, development, and challenging established scientific paradigms.

    He has held professorships and fellowships at leading universities internationally and across Australia and New Zealand and has been engaged by top-tier organisations in sectors including banking and finance, defence, mining, civil engineering, healthcare, motorsports, energy, and infrastructure.

    Driven by a passion for sustainability, Jackson believes unbiased data is key to guiding industries toward greater social responsibility and stronger business performance.

  • Adam has a strong technical foundation in science and engineering, enabling him to solve complex problems by transforming diverse knowledge into tailored, effective solutions. He is highly adaptable, with the ability to rapidly identify, develop, and prototype approaches that address challenges across a broad range of industries.

    His practical expertise is complemented by a background in chemical engineering, mathematics and physics, which provide a solid base for his analytical skills and innovative approach to problem solving.

  • Paul is a private investor and company director, overseeing businesses connected to his investments. From 2001 to 2022 he established and managed private equity funds. Paul commenced with Goldman Sachs JBWere (NZ), where he was Head of Private Equity. Later he founded Maui Capital Limited.

    Earlier in his career, Paul held senior management positions across a range of industries in New Zealand and the UK, providing him with broad operational experience that continues to inform his investment decisions

    With over 30 years of experience in protecting and commercialising intellectual property, Kate combines extensive knowledge with strong leadership skills, including strategy development, innovative solution delivery and talent nurturing.
