Rooted in Research,
Built for Purpose,
Powered by Innovation.

With our origins stemming from James Murray-Parkes former employer, friend and mentor Prof. Andrew Harris from the Engineering Excellence Group at the University of Cambridge and the University of Sydney, James took this inspiration and soon after founded the Engineering Innovations Group, collaborating with Swinburne University and Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.

Later, we operated within Brookfield, becoming the Brookfield Scientific Solutions Group, before stepping into our own identity as Technotia Laboratories in 2019.

From the outset, our work has fused diverse disciplines from physics and mathematics, to engineering and design, with precision technologies and insights from the natural world.

The COVID-19 pandemic was a defining moment for Technotia Laboratories. At this pivotal moment of unparalleled demand, we mobilised to design and developed ventilators and delivered advanced modelling for NSW Health. This period saw us become fully independent from Brookfield, scaling into a scientific consulting team working across industries and borders.

Today, we tackle projects that matter — work that can transform businesses, industries, and even society. We also invest in the next generation of innovators through scholarships and partnerships like the Swinburne Engineering Excellence Group.
